PARABOMOBILE
For months, I dreamt of creating the handcrafted vehicle of the Republic of Hertz.
Born from a collaboration with my father and mechanics, it emerged from a worn-out Peugeot 103, a modest icon of 1990s Moroccan mobility. Merged with a cart, it has transformed into a living sculpture.
At its rear, a metal structure rises, bearing 21 satellites like steel flowers, open to infinite horizons, ready to capture possibilities.
A moving symbol of wandering and dreaming, the Parabomobile travels without a fixed destination.
Its antennas, stretched toward the invisible, seem to catch distant echoes, promises of elsewhere,
They whisper that departure is always possible, but arrival remains uncertain.
This vehicle carries nothing, except the urge to escape or the vertigo of staying. A poem on wheels, woven from silences, intentions, and unanswered questions.
I am presenting this exclusive work at MACAAL.
